Yes I do think that they do not have the funds to do a proper drilling program. My detailed posts yesterday set out the basis for this view, including reference to the severe lack of cash currently held by the company (taken from VIC's own quarterly reports, not me making them up) and a comparison of PGM's drilling campaign undertaken next door last year, in which PGM drilled less than half as many holes as what VIC is planning to drill and its "exploration and development" costs - which doesn't even consider all of the other costs of running the company - during that drilling campaign was over $1.2m (again, taken from PGM's own reports, not me making the figures up).

So as I state above, unless the proposed drillers have agreed to not be paid, then how can VIC drill the >200 holes it has planned?

I have also set out my grave concerns about how the company has now effectively given away the US$500,000 plus interest that it "lent" to Milestone and paid hundreds of thousands of dollars over to Bolivia - when it's only real substantial costs in Bolivia were the fees of the appointed in-country manager and some uni students working for free that undertook the drill "campaign" over there - and then just to write off the project out of the blue.

As to George's above underlined comment, the recent 6 July 2018 announcement that states "The Board will provide shareholders with a more detailed account once logistics and all third-party service providers are finalised" actually indicates that drillers have not been engaged and have not been finalised (as the Board has not provided shareholders with a more detailed account yet), and only a "contractor" to manage the campaign has been appointed.

A "contractor" to manage a campaign could be anything from a very experienced logistics or management company, to the managing director's brother in law's private company that gets paid a handsome "contractor" middle man fee to consult and "manage" the process. The vagueness of the announcement is telling.
