Myall Creek Copper Gold project in South Australia 100% owned by SER.
SER is targeting both Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) mineralisation in the Proterozoic basement and sediment-hosted mineralisation in the overlying sediments. Key IOCG host rocks are present within the project area and overlying sediments include a 15km zone with anomalous copper in historic drilling.
SER has planned a detailed ground gravity survey within EL5898 to refine drill targets generated by previous holder St Barbara but never tested.
In 2018, Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) has taken a keen interest in the area, pegging all available ground around Myall Creek.
FMG are looking to get all ground possible at Myall Creek, because they are fully aware and are the S.A government department of natural resources, that this area hosts some of the largest untapped IOCG in the country, similar geology to Olympic Dam, being mineralisation in the Proterozoic basement and sediment-hosted mineralisation.
FMG are securing as much Myall Creek IOCG ground as possible, and here we have SER right smack in the middle of FMG leases, with an enormous holding in this highly desirable area that FMG have only just recently secured., see figure 4 of the link posted below.
This alone warrants SER in my opinion of a MC 10 times what they are currently trading at, let alone all the other potential SER have.
