Syr are focused on selling there whole basket of graphite,  at the moment they have no trouble selling the lower quality graphite to refractory applications and heat treatment.  The higher spec graphite can't be sold in good quantities as no one wants to buy it,  there isn't a buyer.  Higher spec graphite can only be sold for certain application. Hence syr is stockpiling the high spec graphite to be sold when demand picks up.  The longer the high spec market can't swallow syr supply,  the higher the high spec inventory gets,   which causes  the high grade graphite price to be weak,  hence the lower selling price syr is getting and everybody else in the industry
