That is a really nice piece of core that should grade really well = expect high grade Cu results.

I have one question though...about this core and the MT Colin resource itself...has there been any discussion from EXS on pyrrhotite in the resource?

I have scanned over the recent Mt Colin resource upgrade, and connot find any mention of deleterious elements.

The point of course being, pyrrhotite is generally considered to be a penalty element in copper concentrates...so I was wondering, are you aware how EXS intends to deal with this?

The core you show appears to be full of it.

I know magnetic separation is often used with Nickel ores (after a finer grind) to facilitate separation of the pentlandite from the pyrrhotite (pyrrhotite is magnetic) prior to flotation...but this can add significant processing costs that eat into one's head-grade margins and also generally reduce recoveries.

It is an important aspect impacting the economics of a resource.

These sorts of issues might help explain why one resource can attract significant market value, while another does not...in spite of very similar headline numbers.

I am genuinely interested...if any of the EXS followers can help?

    Cheers!
