have enjoyed your corresponsdence. I guess my concern is that solvay plants cost a bomb to build and these guys wont have the money to do this in the foreseeable future. what they should be doing is importing the soda ash from asia and concentrating on the bicarb which on your say so is highly profitable. i am sure my back of the envelope indicates it will be far cheaper (and therefore more competitive) to bring the soda ash in rather than build a whole plant. so keep the old craoker going as long as they can and focus on bi-carb
