mmmmm...... I can't disagree entirely with your post Mowibble, but still have misgivings about their rate of progress - this from their latest quarterly -
"December 2010 Quarter: During the December 2010 quarter, Richmond will continue to advance the Buena Vista project with further refinement of the scoping economics, publication of the revised resources and ongoing discussions with engineering and logistics providers"
sorry, but for me that's just a load of comfortable, non-committal mush - investors want timelines..... just for RHM's benefit that means dates by which stated targets and objectives will be met (obviously a foreign concept to RHM)......
I guess it's ok if you trust a company's directors to be doing the right thing (I don't feel that way about any board of directors) so one way of keeping them to their word is simply: can they deliver on their timelines? how do you measure performance without timely progression to targets? and good communication in the interim.....
no one has any idea when RHM will be 'ready' for anything - words like "continue to advance" and "further refinement of the scoping economics" and "ongoing discussions" - hell, that's what anyone would expect..... get my drift?
you're probably right that RHM is not the stock for me - but you're way wrong if you think that most investors wouldn't be happy to grab a fistful of money after a few days with any stock - though it'll never happen with RHM, eh?......
ho hum.....
