On Wed 12th at 6.00am (Syd 8.00, Akl 10.00) Report 9 says that they were preparing to run the drill string back into the hole and recommence drilling from 3543m after running the 9 7/8 casing. The first zone of interest is at about 3720m so there is not too much drilling to do before they are into it. They have to drill out the plug and a bit of testing, but I imagine that they are pretty close now. Certainly by the end of the weekend they would be getting an indication. Getting through the sands wouldn't take too long as it is easy going albeit that they be going carefully. However I doubt that they would be telling us anything until a bit latter. Perhaps not until after it has been logged and evaluated? Just hoping there is something to evaluate.
