They don't think we are stupid , they know . "We"
being the investment professionals that cover so many stocks they never ever understand the detail . Their research occurs during conference calls or quarterly or half yearly updates . So often they are surprised by outcomes that would be bleeding oBvious to any across the detail . This is why most analysts despite acknowledging it is a poor deal for ROC ( 2 have done so to me personally ) will support the merger because they have lapped up the argument a bigger company will attract more interest when in reality we I know the bigger company will get assessed on its relative worth based on assets and cash flow relative to the bigger market cap .
The only people this deal will enrich is the management team of merge co and the exiting team that will no doing receive golden parachutes

For a 1.8 m usd package , the MD of Roc has certainly been found wanting when it comes to looking after SHs . Well done to the HZN team as they have proven to be the clever ones in this transaction
