jake sorry for being slow to respond but have only just read some of this thread because i was considering the spp.
i agree with the sentiments re dilution but if the average mos shareholder feels like me, we are reluctant to give this company more money.
to think that i actually sold some qgc once ( at about 1.20 or so and bought mos!!
some similarities with mel - they are both in the oil and gas sector and they are both dogs!!!!!
someone commented about "used to be ok" that must be a long time ago - i have held some for years and the only time i made money was when they had an issue at about 12c years ago and i sold some soon after at 18c
they seem to have lots going for them but they always have - i have never known any company to spend so much of their revenue on exploration and development ( i know they normally dont drill in highly prospective areas but the rewards should be more incremental and measured) , make so little money, and still have to spend more on development.
capitalised at only about $90m they should be a fair punt, particularly with the assets they have bought lately plus a couple of wildcards in ng and wa; but the leopard will have to change its spots! New Guinea was what attracted me to them in the first place.
i will give them some money for the spp but reluctantly.
