1. I'm not sure if they are settling for anything. My understanding is that Delhi Metro approached XTD to do their cross track screens, not the other way around, and it has happened quite quickly. I would also suggest India has fantastic growth potential. The announcement suggested TDI operate in 100 metro stations, so there's certainly potential there.
2. I thought the way they presented the annual report was pretty ordinary to be honest. We know XTD is positive cashflow, but contact light is sapping a fair bit of their cash.
3. Agree, but the company has made it perfectly clear the the Australian roll out was purely a shopfront for overseas deals, rather than their main business
4. Directors maybe not but management do. Steve Wildisen is an electrical engineer by trade and started Lunalite distributing bus shelter screens (I think). From there XTD was born, so I'd so he has a fair pedigree. David Gibbs who is heading up the US has a strong history in OOH media.
5. Embark is a transport app which has been generating great user numbers purely based on their user experience. They have guns who are heading this up, and it's certainly in its infancy. XTD / Contact Light hold the patent for the media handoff between a screen and a smartphone. So a commuter can engage with media on a screen via their smartphone, take advantage of freebies / offers from advertisers etc. Great tech, and Contact Light are the only guys doing this. I think we can expect a lot of activity coming up, regarding signing advertisers and content deals.
