remember back in kev 07 days and subsequent SUPER RESOURCES TAX took grip of the nation and argy bargy on it.
i should have realised that this signalled the end of the resources boom - self evident - as soon as the government thought it was a good idea to slug the booming area of the economy 6 years after the horse had bolted it rang the bell to the end of the boom in commodities and the gov has almost returned nothing into the coffers from this additional tax since their projections on commodity prices were 6 years too late - like most of their projections!!.
