You are looking at the half empty glass
The half full glass saids
Massive potential for cost cutting within QRN eg
( a friend who works there just said nearly everyone there has been offered voluntary redunacies )
Re the floods/cyclone. Every competitor of QR has been affected. Who's in the best position to recover from this and gain market share. Yes QRN.
The PE ratio is crap now but wont be QRN grows.
People are buying a rail company for $7 billion dollars that cost $37 billion to build.
You are buying for the future not for today.
Many have used Canadian Rail as a example of what QRN will become. They have a market cap of $31 billion and a dividend yield less than QRN.
