greyhoundtrainer; I mean this honestly and I did not intend to offend you, and I apoligse if I came off rude, don't take my post personally. I disagree with you suggesting it is shorters - the price of gold fell something close to $US18 on Friday and is down again in Asian trade this morning (usually not a good sign for later in the US session), so come on, did you honestly expect Lihir to head up today? Nothing heads straight up forever, I learned that a long time ago when I first started trading. And often, the age-old adage of "buy the rumour, sell the fact" applies to Lihir in this case, and I think this is a fine example.

Let's both enjoy the fruits of Lihir, we should be getting our dividend cheques soon, even if it is peanuts :P
