Wendy Simpson is currently involved in a number of business initiatives between China and Australia. She is Non Executive Chairman of Westray Engineering which operates in China and Australia. Westray Engineering specialises in heavy engineering for the mining, building and construction, and rail industries. Wendy is Non Executive Director of Allomak, ASX: AMA – industrial sector company with 5 fully owned subsidiaries.

Wendy’s China experience includes Senior Vice President Alcatel Asia Pacific based in Shanghai leading teams in 16 countries with 10,000 employees and sales of $AUD 5 billion. She has also been the Victorian Government’s Chief Representative for North Asia, based in Shanghai.

Wendy has chaired and served on a number of boards and is actively involved in outreach programs aimed at supporting youths. She has, with her husband - foster “parented” 12 homeless young people over a period of 15 years.
