With the mid terms done and dusted we can return to consider underlying fundamentals.
We have an extended Dow moving into a period of increasing interest rates, decreasing central bank balance sheets but allied by US economy strength and continued increasing revenues that reflect the viability of new markets.
The trade war in my mind is not permanent, China will give more than it wants, The US will accept less than it wants and all will be delivered in a way that will diminish but in an acceptable way the powers at play. (spin will go into overdrive and everyone’s a winner)
This will lessen inflationary pressures and partially discount the need to increase interest rates, and you can spin it any way you like but view from garage all about US interest rate cycle.
Interest rates have bottomed in US and are heading up but maybe not as fast as reported, they still have significant drivers but ………
So, want does that mean? farked if I know, just one man sitting in a garage with a ‘trading hound’ at hip.
the hound reckons continuing volatility in a weakening market until some transparency comes into the US inflationary situation, lets go with that
Stocks the garage are looking at fit into one category, where register moving from retail to professional or more appropriate to stock forums someone’s fantasy to everyone’s reality.
Reality expressed in numbers not words, number achieved not projected.
No drill bit positions, no nearlogy, no extended financial outcomes, no (or very few) CR’s, …...you know the rest.
The other major ‘if’ is expectations, realistic given above therefore if I’m up give me a good reason to hold and the only reason acceptable would be the ‘risk profile’ of the stock.
If you leave money on the table after exit just have a cold shower and maybe a nice 'apple turnover' on next cafe run.

All the above if held are subject to TA (basic) entry and exit, pretty much hound looks at the squiggly line and volume for couple of seconds, if he wags his tail time to get in or out.
