I got to a stage in learning the technicals where I flat lined. No matter what I did, I didn't improve and if anything my trading got worse. Maybe the next charting book would make me better … or the one after that … or the one after that.

Can I suggest you try "Charting Secrets" by Louise Bedford. She takes all the complexities and goobledygook, simplifies them, and puts in place some simple strategies that you can use to improve your trading, and make some money using whatever technical skills or knowledge you have.

Demystifies it all, so to speak, using a bit of common sense.

Some of the feedback to you has been very good. You don't need a lot of indicators … just a couple … and learn how they work. Lots of practice.
