"Why is there a lot of traders out there that don’t have a top rate ‘trading hound’ at knee when they wade into the market each morning. (little bloke told me to bang that one in)"
Most workplaces don't allow dogs at work. Must admit, I'm bemused by the number of traders who are so passionate about trading but as soon as the market is open on a public holiday, they're nowhere to be seen. Seems that trading can only be done on the boss's time, not in their own! An old and not unique observation.
Just in case anyone hasn't looked at the HC timestamp, daylight savings started this weekend. So if you don't have daylight savings, make sure you're ready to go an hour early tomorrow.
My last observation. The asx now purges stock orders instantly when a stock is suspended. Saw that for the first time with AVZ this week. I assume that started happening when the "pause in trading" replaced "notice received" notices a few weeks back. I like the change. The purging used to be inconsistent - it always happened but sometimes it was the same day and others 2 or more days later.
As for music, let's go for November rain. An old fave.
