Q & A weekend, heres a few the hound and I have pondered over 1st 18 months FT in garage; no particular order and delivered with a degree of humour, Why do people buy ex announcement a spec where 9 times out of 10 when emotion withdraws from trading, patience will be rewarded with a better price? Why do people sell on support? (fark me, been there a few times myself) Why do people look at a line that at a glance is obviously in a downward trend but because they have given it more than a glance and are more educated in the art of the squiggly line are convinced the obvious is incorrect and it will at this very moment reverse its trend and start going up? Why do people believe regular posters on stock threads when they say ‘it’s best to eliminate emotion from trading’? Why do people ignore the fact at spec end that imagined outcome dominates the process of capital accumulation? Why do people let emotion be carried over into different trades when they actually know it’s to their detriment? (fark me, been there a few times myself) Why do people ramp a stock up or down and not understand that it’s obvious to anyone with an IQ > 25 that is exactly want they are doing. Why do people keep quoting EV’s for specs as if they actually mean anything over time? Why do people pay any attention to entry tips without knowing a posters exit process? Why do people invest in a stock when they know the model is in a stage of taking cash from the market and not generating it’s own, and not understand to a degree the mathematical outcome of that and pause to ponder? Why is there a lot of traders out there that don’t have a top rate ‘trading hound’ at knee when they wade into the market each morning. (little bloke told me to bang that one in) Hound and I off to do a favour for the BH, picking up an outdoor table from friend, hopefully might bring the old ‘monthly’ forward tonight.But I do wonder about these things;

I wonder why the ASX allows the bots, I wonder how some brokers totally control the price movement of a share, and I wonder how Rodriguez never got the recognition he so justly deserves. Haven't played his music for months, time to get them playing long and loud.
