This film makes so much sense... the problem is Fructose. In Nature it occurs in minute quantities and it's one of the sweetest naturally occurring sweeteners. Things like corn syrup [which is high in fructose] is added to a huge number of processed foods. The body becomes completely overloaded and metabolism can't make the adjustment. Sugar in its dark brown form [which is as close to dried sugar cane as you can get] is fairly safe.
