Nice post. One point though: positive MACD means that the value is in positive territory, whereas (unless I've misunderstood, then please exuse me) you appear to be saying that it is positive if above the signal line. i.e. a positive **histogram** rather than a positive MACD **value**.
The latter simply states how the MA of the MACD is going. Ideally, IMO, the MACD **and** the histogram should be positive. Look up themargetgeeks.com.
