Hi Bugsam, lately I've been looking at the "bigger picture" when looking at charts. I've realized sometimes as trader we can just focus on shorter time frames daily/hourly/min when checking the price history to try to figure out what's going to happen next and by looking at the monthly charts I've seen more convergence points than I expected, I'm quite surprised how some support/resistance zones carry on from more than 10 years at times. I suppose the same can be apply to the volume analysis and the subsequent price action, also taking into account news events as you mentioned.
Thanks for the link to Jako8557's post. I've read some of this Wyckoff posts, I'm yet to process and apply them, it's always so much clearer when someone explain it step by step than when you actually try to understand the chart using this principles, buy hey that's the challenge isn't it?
Have a nice weekend!
