We occasionally have bluechip traders in here. There are some that make pretty decent money from regularly trading them. On day trading, @Cleo was having a regular trade on APT for quite a while. My memory could be dodgy but I thought @roberter1 did the occasional bluechip trade and I think @48&34 was also interested in trading dividend stocks when we were looking at the rules for the Q1 comp. There have definitely been others to comment on blueys but I can't remember who at the moment.
I'm sure if you want to get a discussion going about trading in some of the bigger stocks, there will be others interested. Even though this is HC, we do know that there is a world of trading outside the specs!
The competition doesn't really suit blueys as they're not really 25%+ in a month kind of stocks. However, if there's demand for it, maybe you and others could negotiate with @ColonialCousin to get a bluechip section into the comp - maybe a lower bar if they're in the ASX100. Something to think about in the future perhaps. Just a thought.
