Nothing much going on in garage, seem to be in some good stocks so all about exit strategy for team, something we find difficult to optimise.

Bit of a hiccup with CYP but overall green.

Got a phone call from SC neighbours earlier in the week, eastern brown in their chicken coup, they are the neighbours that in the teams absence feed KP (resident Goanna).

The old guy went in after it, snake spooked made a break for it but unfortunately for him straight into KP coming in for his 1/2 chop, let's just say didn't go well for the snake.

Have a great respect for all living things but snakes give me the heebie Jeebies, besides part of KP's natural prey.

What they have learn't though since starting to feed KP to keep him around is there are about 6 other families in the village that have been doing same thing for same reason for years.

Apparently KP just loops the village being handed high quality meats from his humans, the big bloke not too sure why but respects a good trade and has been 'long' for years.

Spoke to my naturalist mate, question being are we doing a diservice to KP? he just laughed not surprised at all, probably but highly intelligent scavengers, the locals seeing value in KP's presence will work in his favour.

We just learn't the fxking state government is 'considering' rezoning some land down there under developer pressure, trading hound and I going down there to suss it out, apparently local community reckons in vicinity of KP's hibernation log, gonnas on SC all take a low profile in winter, no fcking way developers cutting down KP's log.

Spoken to some of people within KP's loop, some are old canberra bureaucrat's with contacts and a bit of doe, BH on board being a corporate lawyer she likes the smell of a fight.

Hound in full 'eco warrior mode', all british bulldog, battle of britian 'line in the sand' stuff, proud to have the little bloke at knee going into battle.
