Diver Dan, I'm assuming that your writing is your own work, as it seems to have a personal nature, or is it also the sentiment of others? (not that it can't be both). If not the later, then my next question is, are you are professional writer and/or trader?
Whatever, it makes for a good read. Is the strong US bias fundamental to your analysis, or is there room for say, the European pit too, if that does not warrant too much of an obvious answer?
Anyway, my own take pivots off the pending summit, which is likely to keep the bears at bay, so I'm going long for now. On the 'civilized' side of the planet, regardless of the concerning Brexit dysfunction, I think that the outcome favoring the EU - if it can be called that - will foster some longs too.
Looking forward to many more of the characteristic photo shoots from the bodacious duo to keep the markets intact.
