WKT - has been a while in the making with its world class large flake graphite project but with a couple of significant events recently has me thinking wkt is ready to fire, probably should have been my annual tip but happy with the Q1 prospects ...
Recent events
1 - The appointment of Mike Elliott as Independent Non Executive Director...Mike was previously the Mining and Metals boss at Earnest & Young
2 - The granting of the Mining Licence
3 - The recent increase in reserves by 41%
4 - Revised DFS to come shortly as a result of the significant increase in reserves. The original DFS was impeccable so looking forward to the revised version
VXR - another long time in the making...so as is the case with all explorers I suppose.... seems to take forever to move from exploration to discovery then actual mining...has been a big learning curve for me has the time that it does take for all those 3 things to occur...then throw in all the ups and downs with commodity prices....boy what a circus.....Anyway vxr are due to start the last leg/ run to becoming a copper/ Zinc miner with just about everything in place now..... just need Finance sorted and with BurnVoir assisting should be all a-ok
What I like about vxr
1 - NST has been a long term holder and supporter in many ways..hold 20%
2 - Recent appointment of AJ as MD...young mining pro who has been hand picked for this role and has ties to Bill Beaumont from nst
3 - All management inc the Chairman have participated in every CR and have all been buying on market at various other times
4 - Demand for copper in the years to come will be very high
5 - Massive scope to expand the current reserves with future drill campaigns
6 - Although vxr has been relatively quiet about the prospect in finding gold on there tenements there is DEG who are working hard adjacent to vxr at Loudens Patch with there gold exploration activities...So.... we might have some gold and we now have AJ and Bill from nst.... hmmmmm, who knows
IVR - a roughie here but I am expecting some hot news flow from early Jan with all the noise from BHP recently...IVR have some significant grounds in the Olympic Dam Belt region of S.Aust... home to Olympic Dam of course, Carrapateena, Prominent Hill and BHP's recent discovery at Oak Dam which is rumored to be bigger than OD itself and which sits just on top of ivr's Maslins target.... management are hoping to secure a JV partner very soon and start a drilling campaign.... and then not to far away is ivr's 42mil oz Silver Resource at Paris, management are reported as saying they need silver at $20+usd and then this project is a goer...all these sites mentioned sit smack dead in the Olympic Dam Belt...see pic below....caution though nearology plays don't always turn out to be of a benefit... but I certainly hope so
