I am trying to build myself a Corel Draw File with all the pic, texts etc, but there is simply too many patterns. Surely you guys cannot possibly use them all? There must be some basic bullish/bearish setups that can be fairly safely used. I spent all last week/weekend studying indicators and have pretty well got what I need, but candles are just doing my head in. What with Barcharts.com, Investopedia, commodity.com, Jackos Chart Thread, youtube, and Google, it's all too much. Any ideas anyone? I do realize that one never stops learning, but if I can get just a few basic setups to try from you guys, I will do a lot better than blindly trading like I have been for so long. I hope I am not asking for trade secrets guys. Cheers in anticipation.

@rick64 A lot in info in link below, which I find a very good site, but what you can do, is limit your selection to the best % candles for reversals/ continuations etc as it backtest and rates the success of each candle or candle pattern.http://thepatternsite.com/CandleEntry.html I'd try to get it down to best 10. and focus there first
