There is definitely a slow down, however, I think this might have a bit to do with a lot of other companies like oppo, xiaomi etc making such good phones that duopoly of Samsung and Apple has been broken a bit. Unless they do some real innovation, they will keep on losing market share.

Secondly, phones these days have become so expensive that not many people change them every year or 2 years now.
