It is frustrating to get stopped out of a position by the whimsy of an analyst or politician. Convictions are one thing -- and then there is the added frustration over being a swing trader knocked around by freewheeling personalities. As you said the other day, @Ekult, the STT is a forum where posters seem to refrain from certain terminology. I think it's a pretty tolerant forum. @ammie just didn't want to see a rumble in the jungle. You could always provide a link to another forum. It's sometimes hard to make a point in this environment without offending people, whether it's about stocks or their influencers. Sometimes if I want to get a bit more into the weeds in an opinion note, I just provide a hyperlink. If anyone cares about my opinion they will look at it and if they don't, no one gets their knickers in a twist. I think most traders care more about how things influence stocks more than they do the underlying ideology of the influencer.
