In relation to the tipping comp - It can be really challenging to get that timing perfect . And in lots of cases it needs to be perfect to get that 25% rise within the month. Some shares - particularly where the price is really small. The share can go up 50 - 100% with just one pip or two higher, but it can also drop 50% pretty fast too- one pip. . I have been working on picking bottoms. But even if I get that right eventually, i might have to tip higher up the chart , to get those steeper rises in a shorter time span. Sometimes the bottoms have the steep rise - sometimes not. (Maybe FA helps here) Regardless , I would still prefer to pick a bottom ( as big money is made at the bottom.) @ColonialCousin Are we still doing the mountain climber jerseys , as they are the ones that are likely to go to those who can pick the lowest part of a long sustained rise (and that is valuable tipping), and will pick up those who just missed out on the 25% rise due to slightly miss timing . One of my shares that I tipped (SGQ) crossed to the 25% rise mark today - a few days too late . It wasn't one that I was picking a bottom on - but one that I was in. Graph shows that it was a good tip. But timing just slightly out. Lots of us are possibly doing tips like this. Anyway it makes you work harder to perfect that timing. Which is a good thing in the long run.
