Apple reporting earnings after the US markets closes tonight.
If positive the markets should continue to rally.
If negative then we can probably expect a drop on open tomorrow.


Nasdaq Daily
The Nasdaq may be in the process of creating an "Evening Star" pattern.
This could be on anticipation of tonight's earnings results...?




ASX 200 Daily
There seems to be some profit taking, taking place after the recent bounce.
Today is showing a bit of a bearish candle.
I've noticed a few stocks that have rallied hard with the bounce are also looking a little overextended now and have a similar pattern..





ASX Gold Daily index
The index is showing a bullish pin bar candle today.
I've noticed most ASX Gold stocks have turned up today.
Gold stocks seem to be running inverse to the rest of the market.



Tonight may see an important turning point going into the US mid-term elections.
Strength tonight may offset some of volatility for the elections, weakness may contribute.


Like @Malaga mentioned, day-trading and short-term holds in the direction of the market seem to be the right trading strategy at the moment.
