The Christmas rally is usually only the last week of December.
So I'm not holding onto stocks for 6 weeks in hope of a 1 week rally near Christmas time...
Trump and Xi are meeting this weekend at the G20 meeting to discuss "Trade tariffs".
2 likely outcomes,
1. A supposed "positive" deal is made for the media.
- A short-lived 1-3 day bounce in the markets that will likely be sold into, then indexes will go on to make new lows.
2. A "negative" outcome, no deal is made.
- Very likely send the indexes straight down to new lows.
It doesn't really matter whether a trade deal is reached or not because ultimately both of their economies are slowing..
