SW corner is exceptional, drive Caves Rd, visit the wood workers, glass blowers, surf Margaret River, taste the 80 odd vine yards, see the Indian and Southern oceans meet at Point Augusta, watch your son boogie board on a grey flat day and as the only wave of the day peaks, catch a glimpse of dolphins, and 3 black and white things about 20 times the size of my son slide past him. Its great. Albany was the convey meeting point for Gallipoli, see the pines and charging horseman. Always enjoyed the visits.
Darn all you WA'ers! We moved to Moreton Bay Qld about 15 years ago, about 60m from the water. Since then, all the little sandcrabs have passed on, the small stingrays are no longer around, the migrant birds have all but vanished (thanks S Korea!) and possums & Brush Turkeys have moved in. Kookaburras have also gone. Lizards (blue tongue, frilly) are rarer. WTF!?
