conviction is the hardest thing to develop....and stand by.....
just recently i've been getting impatient, frustrated etc by missing runners, and holding dogs.....and its bitten hard. Doing dumb trades, like i did several years back simply cos a stock got a mention.....so, i smack around the ear, ditching dumb holdings and going back to what i intended to do originally, that is, bigger positions in stocks i had researched myself....
"catch and kill your own"
and, more disturbing the last couple of days, even though the resource side seems to be getting some green shoots, i'm concerned that one or two stocks are getting movement and attention simply due to a few heavy hitters being able to muscle a fragile market.....
in the long run, you have to go your own way........or, be a sheep, wandering up the ramp to a boat ride to oblivion
