A message I sent to a mate earlier but probably of some use here too.
There's definitely a lot of volatility right now and more expected over the next 2 weeks.
I would hold off on buying any "riskier stocks" until,
1. The market has calmed down and corrected itself in relation to that US journalist that was killed in Turkey by the Saudis.
(Turkish president is giving a live speech today about the full details of the murder, including that he may have also been tortured before being murdered.)
2. Mid-term elections on Nov 6th.
The current polls are showing that the democrats are most likely to win, which would f$%k Trump and probably the markets a bit.
3. On going Trade War crap.
It's looking like it will get worse before it gets better..
4. FED raising interest rates in December/ US Bond yields going higher.
Probably a good trade after (if) 1. & 2. get sorted as I believe that 3. & 4. are mostly already priced into the market.
