Hi Thanky - I'm more than happy to be involved in such a discussion. It looks like you are certainly on the right track.  I'm convinced that the strategy of using a system or systems with a proven positive edge, rather than a strategy that merely looks for one or two highly speculative potential multi-bag returns, is the best and most professional approach to consistently making money in the markets.  As I think you realise now there isn't a simple solution to achieving this.  I was hoping that there would be a thread dedicated to systems and algorithmic trading when I joined HC but I couldn't find one, and now yes I think we should create one.

I'm happy to post my ideas and discoveries and any of the analysis work I do using Amibroker.  I'll leave it to you to create the thread if that's OK.  Tag me when you do and we can start the conversation.
