Saying "can we match Omron?" is like saying "can Microsoft match Apple?". We are two different companies led by management from completely different backgrounds. Omron has been pitching their wearable for 4 years at CES and it was finally released this year. Despite the hype there is a fundamental problem with it - there is NO "use case". It's clunky, uncomfortable, and needs constant calibration. I've tried it as has my team - there is no market strategy for the device. It's a miniaturized arm cuff. 

Omron is a significant company with a solid financial base but they remind me of Xerox. This industry needs disruption and that doesn't happen from the inside. 

And their move into health services is a great step forward but call it like it is - it's an App. It's not health coaching or telehealth. It's a lifestyle App.
