Once a few shorters close out their positions it will be a race to the exits (by the shorters). End Of Financial Year window dressing by fund managers holding FLT could also be factor early next week.
The banks have fallen by about 1% today and the big miners by over 2%. FLT has risen by 1.7% at the moment. I would suggest the strength of the rise is disguised by market falls in many other stocks.
Fin Review today...page 1... "Graham Turner says the plunge in the company's share price since a profit downgrade on Tuesday is probably an over-reaction....".
..."the overall leisure market had grown by 3 per cnt while Flight Centre's share had grown by 2 to 2.5 per cent"
