I'm not buying into the valuation argument on this thread (although it is probably just a reflection of how the market can be like a manic depressive friend...either very positive or very negative or ok).
I thought this was interesting. Short positions in FLT have fallen to 0.11% of issued shares as of yesterday afternoon...Daily Gross Short Sales reported for 06-Jul-2015, ASX Limited (ASX) & Chi-X Australia (CHI-X)
FLT FLIGHT CENTRE TRAVEL GROUP LIMITE FPO 116,511 100,822,383 .11
It looks like a lot of short positions across most stocks have been reduced with Bluescope Steel at 0 .48% and Oz Minerals at 0.58% and Slater and Gordon 0.36% amongst the largest short positions.
I'm not buying into the valuation argument on this thread...
