The shorters must be a bit nervous. The number of shares sold short increased by 3,000,000 in the last month or so. From 10 to 13M shares (out of the total of 100M on issue). Looking at the recent share price trajectory one could assume that al these recent positions are in the red. I am long (and have been for a while) so hope they lose their nerve and start covering. Average daily volume is around 500,000 shares (my rough estimate). Number of shares short 13M. Will require 26 days worth of stock for all shorts to close. Hope the offers dry up a bit to tighten the screws.
