Short Squeeze
Several people posted last Friday that the shorts must havebeen suffering. I thought short % would go up. If you believe the SP is over priced at $1.6x then would you not believe the same at 1.8X. Of course this was because I have felt strongly that NUF was a non-issue since Q2 CC. Still believe September license is a Non-issue as well. We now have the short info for Friday 3-15 and Monday 3-18 It has remained nearly unchanged at just under 6%. Guess we were all wrong. I knew to stay silent till I had data.
What I still do not understand is why so many very strong supportersof this company still want to think that blind, uneducated morons are incontrol of Lynas’s fate. I believe the usual market metrics are controlling SP. That right now they are low which is bad for Lynas. This has happened many times in history. Seldom has it lasted more than a year or two. Because it has happened so many times it is easy to predict the turn around. This is why I am on the sidelines watching carefully. I find this much better for Lynas, than a bunch of Crazy goverment people out to get Lynas. JMO
