theres so much spin in the announcement that its difficult to work it out.
with regards your debt calculation however, the only real reduction is the $247M coming in from Morgan Stanley. the rest is just swapping debt in ABS for debt in the JV, so ABCs use of the term NET Debt reduction is misleading.
