He is quite right....They do it cos they can get away with it. They will quickly have learnt how pathetic the ASX and ASIC are at policing the very institutions they are charged to run in an orderly fashion Additionally, in the case of the ASX, they are making millions in revenue from the increased trade so they have no real interest in stopping it

As with most regulatory bodies in Australia, ASX and ASIC will wake up in 5 years when all the damge is done and their credibility is shot to pieces
