Ah yes of course, I'm aware of this fact as I'm mainly interested in options trading and it's a fundamental assumption of pricing call options that are going to return a dividend that the price drops on the underlying by the amount of the dividend. The difference here is, as you say, this is in theory:
+ and I'm bullish overall on the stock so a bit biased!
+ I don't think the volume is high enough or the market ( holders particularly) is efficient for the theory to apply in this case. The last few days the spread has been up to 10% and the dividend return is only around 2.8% in comparison.
