Yes this can be a real trap. I wanted 8 metres in shed width. 7 metres wide is cheap, 8metres is a different scale altogether. This was why I decided to build everything myself, doors included. I also fitted a steeper gable roof than the modern ones as the maintenance is less and fitting solar panels was easier and I could run less framework (for the panels)
