That sounds a better way than building the shed with individual footings and then pouring the slab using the outer sheets as the shuttering. That seems to rust the sheets out at the bottom in no time.

50% of the sheet bottoms are rusting and I intend to get a short length, about 500mm long for each sheet and cut straight along above the corrosion, unscrew the lower screws, slip the new bits inside and screw through both to fix them.
It gets warm in the summer but the heat blows out pretty quick with one of the roller doors open and the service door on the opposite side open too. It gets really toasty upstairs where they used to sleep when it was a weekender.
That's a good idea to vent at the apex each end.
The canopy is clamped to the frame with U bolts either side with about 150mm of adjustment and was near the top position. I'm not a giant so it doesn't bother me a bit lower. I used a broom to support the canopy at the front.
You get used to that sort of assistance working on your own.
