NTU informed the market back 6thApril 2017 that they would be selling 100% of their 3 year pilot plant production for approximately AUD $66,666,666. So that would equate to
$66,666,666/3,300,000kg (mixed RE carbonate) = AUD $20.20kg.
...
Now according to page 38 of the latest presentation, their are 15 elements contributing towards an annual 573,000kg TREO production. So now when you remove the 527,000kg of annual Tanami dust you are left with AUD $22,222,222/573,000,000kg of potential element for oxide. So now we have AUD$38.78kg for useful elements.
...
If you multiply each element by today price per kg after removing the 17% VAT and then converting from USD to AUD. I come up with an annual value figure of AUD$26,421,233, assuming that there is a 100% recovery of ALL elements after the full separation process.
Now assuming that JFMAG are paying AUD$22,222,222 annually, that would leave them AUD$4,199,011 / 1,100,000kg in carbonate which would be AUD$3.81 or USD $3.05 a Kg to separate 15 elements from each other, and make a profit I assume.
