DoD uses far more yttrium into lasers than anything else, happily NTU can produce 60% yttrium, maybe sell DoD a truckload @$3kg, 40% sponsored by Australian taxpayers.
NTU's paid advisor Argonaut even admits they need "$300/$400kg DyO" to be anything remotely viable, snowball's chance with every magmaker frantically designing it out.
Engineers from leading Sino recently stated DyO a "dirty" word on their campus, says it all, expensive & reduces flux.
