Admitadly i got some dVN on Friday, more for a trade based on an oversold situation than anything. But i recalled that DVN were mentioned in the recent shares mag.

At the time of the articvle DVN were trading in the high 70's.

And looking at the article now DVN really are trading on redicuolous fundamentals.

YES YES, i know interest rates going up blah blah blah. But the fundamentals DVN is on are very low even if interest rates keep rising.

At the time of the article at 77 cents DVN was trading on a p/e of 4.03 times, that's right 4.03 times????

At the current price of 59 cents, what does that make the p/e? Something like 3??? The average for the sector is 12 or so.

And DVN has a lot on the go and in fact is forecasting 15% rise in profits for 2004. AS you all know i'm not really a buy and hold man, but with a nice divvy yield and plenty of cash/assets DVN surely must be looked at. Way oversold in my opinion on the back of the two small int rate rises.

Anyway i've gone on long enough about this one. But looks good to me.
