Hi Buffeting, I cant speak for the board, but there is plenty of information published and a few general assumptions that can be made based on the history of the ASX over an extended period.
1. -- Because they believed that the project was not likely to process and that Italy was going to come good. 2. -- If you follow the links that have been posted you will see that there is a competitive tender process. 3. -- Have you actually checked? Pretty standard world here.. 4. -- Key word Potential; cash is real and if market tanks again cash is king... 5. -- They need to issue a prospectus to do this, costs a lot of money. For a small raising it is not cost effective. Also a lot of stress with shareholders coplaining. Again ordinary event. 6. -- This is an issue for many companies. However the reality is that there are not many occurences where the independance is compromised. Sort of like the fear of kids and guns is high but more kids are killed in pools (from an interesting book I have been reading). 7. -- Pretty normal event.
No secret info in all this (I dont talk to KEY mgmt), and I dont necisarily agree with it (I like Tz and have a longer term investment strategy)..
I am considering flying over to AGM, will confirm ASAP.
radioactivewhale, when you go to anb AGM you will note that auditors must be present. I am not aware of any company ever throwing them in the bin. So you should be pretty safe..
All in good faith, but feel free to confirm..
