a single desk sounds great in theory, trouble is you have to be able to trade which is something AWB may not be able to do and that is going to hurt farmers.
Perhaps a duopoly might form.
FCL might take over AWB and another wheat selling organisation might form out of this Iraq situation.
The new organisation could get dismantled after this but I doubt it.
